This is a serious study of the guitar meant as a follow up to Method 1.  It is utilized in the classrooms of universities and as a tool for guitar teachers around the country. It contains a thurough study of reading music in first position, and introduces the concepts neccessary to read music up the neck. In addition it covers chord vocabulary that is new, including an extensive coverage of bar chords and chords like major 7 and sus. Also, the Blues continues to be explored with a number of patterns introduced and the art of fingerstyle is covered as well as hybrid picking.
